Moviemaker Quentin Tarantino is open to making a third Kill Bill movie.
The iconic director revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in California over the weekend that he would love to make a follow-up to Kill Bill Volume 1 and Kill Bill Volume 2, which came out in 2003 and 2004 respectively. Tarantino was there to promote his upcoming film The Hateful EightI.
Tarantino told the audience that Uma Thurman, who plays The Bride in the bloody, two-part revenge thriller, was keen to make the film.
He said, "Never say never to Kill Bill 3. Uma would really like to do it. We talk about it every once in a while. Vernita's daughter just needs to get a little older."
David Carradine, who played the mysterious Bill in the films, died from accidental asphyxiation in 2009 at the age of 72.
His ex-wife is thrilled Tarantino is considering reviving his Kill Bill franchise - and she wants a role in a third film.
Marina Anderson introduced Carradine and Tarantino at a party many years ago and helped her then-husband stay sober and focused on the role of Bill in Tarantino's all-action movies.
And now the moviemaker has revealed he'd like to revisit the films, she wants to be a part of a third film, possibly avenging the death of the Kung Fu star.
Anderson tells WENN, "I feel like I'm still a part of the whole thing since I was the one who introduced David to Quentin at a party during the 1995 Toronto Film Festival.
"Q said he wanted to work with David, but was concerned about the booze and expressed his reservations. I made sure during the next six years, managing David's career, that we kept Q informed on David's sobriety... Sometimes things can take a lot of time to happen, but it finally did and David was cast in Kill Bill. Quentin just called him; he didn't even have to audition.
"I think David would be very happy about the film sequels continuing... One of his biggest fears was that he'd be forgotten. The legend will continue!
"I keep getting people telling me I should be in the sequel to avenge Bill's death. That would be kind of a parallel to my wanting to find the truth to what happened to him... That would be major cool (sic)!"
Anderson is still investigating the final days of her ex-husband's life, convinced that his death in a Bangkok, Thailand hotel room was not an accident.
