Armed robbers targeted Chris Brown's home on Wednesday morning and held his aunt at gunpoint.
Three men broke into the R&B singer's new house in San Fernando Valley, California at 2am local time and ordered his aunt into a closet at gunpoint.
According to TMZ, they stole money and other items, ransacked the property, and then fled the scene.
The singer's aunt called police but the culprits had vanished by the time officers arrived. Brown was not at his home at the time of the incident.
The star is yet to comment on the incident and has stayed quiet on social media. Some of his fans however, have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at the armed robbery and at entertainment website TMZ.
"it's TMZ's fault.@TMZ put @ChrisBrown & his family in danger by posting pics of his new house!! He deserves privacy!," fumed @PostBadChrisB.
