Beyonce launches Flash tattoo collection

Beyoncé is cashing in on her love of temporary metallic tattoos by creating her own collection of designs.

The 'Halo' superstar has been wearing the gold and silver jewellery-inspired accessories, known as flash tattoos, since last summer, and now she has teamed up with bosses at FlashTat.com to launch her own range.

Company founder Miranda Burnet says, "The collection is an edgier take on traditional jewellery. We wanted to focus on making a strong and empowering statement with the designs that embodied Beyoncé - fierce, fabulous, and flawless!"

The Beyoncé x Flash Tattoos pack, which retails at US$28, features 57 temporary tattoos, ranging from a honeycomb cuff bracelet to a bee, as a nod to her fanbase, which is nicknamed the Beyhive.

The collection also features song titles and lyrics from the hit maker's tunes, including, "I woke up like this", "Crazy in Love", "Naughty Girl", "Flawless" and "Put a ring on it".

Beyoncé models some of the flash tattoos in the new issue of former Vogue Paris editor Corine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book magazine.
