The first full trailer has been released online for 20th Century Fox's Deadpool.
Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, the film tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humour, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Ryan Reynolds stars as the titular anti-hero and debuted a red band trailer - which has also now been released online - at Comic-Con, to a standing ovation.
"For one I think it's an absolute miracle that a studio let us make Deadpool, let alone a rated-R Deadpool," Reynolds told the Comic-Con audience.
Alongside Reynolds, Gina Carano, Morena Baccarin, TJ Miller and Ed Skrein also star.
Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and set for a February 2016 release.
