Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is helping Leonardo DiCaprio raise thousands of dollars at a charity auction by offering to take the winning bidder to the most glamorous events in Hollywood over the course of a whole year.

DiCaprio is set to host a fundraising event for his self-titled environmental foundation in St Tropez, France on Wednesday, and Weinstein has offered up a once-in-a-lifetime prize for the event's auction.

The catalogue lists the lot as "a year in the life of a movie producer as Harvey's Weinstein's... guest for an entire year at the most important film events in the world."

The winner will reportedly join Weinstein at glamorous events such as the Oscars and the Cannes Film Festival in France throughout 2016, according to The New York Post.

Other prizes up for grabs include cufflinks and a ring worn by DiCaprio in The Great Gatsby, a private concert with Sir Elton John, a tennis lesson with Roger Federer, and a walk-on role in Ben Affleck's upcoming film Live by Night.
