John Stamos filming on Fuller House after rehab

John Stamos' Instagram post shows him reading the Fuller House script

John Stamos teased his fans with photos from his first day shooting the Fuller House reboot, just days after leaving rehab following a DUI arrest in June.

Stamos, who played "uncle" Jesse on the original ABC sitcom Full House, posted a photograph on Instagram over the weekend of himself holding the script with the caption, "And we're back! Same sideburns - different decade. #FullerHouse #Netflix."

In the photo, he can be seen sitting in front of a "Jesse" labelled trailer, reading the Fuller House script.

The actor entered rehab to treat substance abuse issues in July following his arrest in Los Angeles for driving under the influence on 12 June.

In an earlier tweet on Friday, he told fans

Fuller House is due to air on Netflix in 2016.
