Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has got engaged.
The 23-year-old has been dating fellow musician Jake Roche since last year. The Rixton front man popped the question on Sunday at Manchester Arena and Jesy immediately said yes.
“I cannot believe what has just happened! The most surreal moment of my life and everyone that I love most was there to share it with us!” she wrote on Instagram. “I feel like the luckiest girl in the world rite now literally cannot stop crying! Future Mrs Roche.”
Jake, 22, got down on one knee during a Little Mix sound check as his pal Ed Sheeran serenaded the couple with an acoustic version of 'Tenerife Sea'. The star was extremely grateful to the 'Don’t' singer for going out of his way to make his proposal extra special.
“A year ago today I met her at manchester arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life” he wrote on Instagram, before adding on Twitter:
Jesy’s day had already gotten off to an amazing start when the band discovered they had achieved their first UK Number One in three years with current single 'Black Magic'.
Jesy is the second member of Little Mix to get engaged, as band mate Perry Edwards is tying the knot with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik.
