Movie veteran Max Von Sydow has joined the cast of Game of Thrones.
The actor will play Bran Stark's mysterious tutor Three-Eyed Raven in upcoming episodes of the show.
The character was introduced in the season four finale, when he was portrayed by Struan Rodger.
The Three-Eyed Raven has the ability to take over the bodies of animals.
The Exorcist star Von Sydow will also appear in the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, alongside another Game of Thrones star, Gwendoline Christie.
The news of Von Sydow's casting comes just days after Deadwood star Ian McShane was announced as joining Game of Thrones for season six.
Recently, HBO chief Michael Lombardo told media that the current plan is for Game of Thrones to end after eight seasons, despite showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss previously saying they were aiming to wrap up after seven.
