Miley Cyrus has been announced as the host of the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
Wearing an all-green alien outfit, complete with mask, Miley wore a sign that read, "MTV won't let me perform". She then ripped off the mask for an accompanying photo and picked up a sign that read: "So I'm hosting this year's VMAs."
The former Disney star is of course referring to her infamous 2013 performance alongside Robin Thicke, where she twerked up against the 38-year-old singer, sporting a latex two-piece and a giant foam finger.
One year after the heavily-criticised duet Cyrus attended the VMA's to accept an award for her 'Wrecking Ball' video, but didn't perform.
The MTV Video Music Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in LA, California on August 30.
