British pop star Perrie Edwards has confessed she is feeling "heartbroken" following her split from Zayn Malik but has reached out to fans to thank them for helping her through such a difficult time.
The Little Mix singer has been engaged to the former One Direction star since 2013, but on Tuesday reports emerged suggesting Malik had ended the relationship.
Edwards now appears to have confirmed the news in a series of emotional posts on Twitter, admitting she is going through a rough patch but is grateful for all the help and support she has been receiving.
Perrie is currently keeping herself busy with her group Little Mix and their new single 'Black Magic', but couldn't escape the split when she sat for an interview with bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall yesterday.
"I'm good, thank you," Edwards quietly replied when asked by E! how she's doing following the split.
Luckily the other three girls chimed in to change the subject.
"We don't really want to talk about it," Pinnock added.
"We're here to get our nails done," Thirlwall joked in an American accent, which cracked a smile out of Edwards.
