Rapper Rick Ross has been slapped with a US$55,000 lawsuit for failing to promote a Super Bowl party on social media.
The 'Hustlin'' hit maker was paid the cash upfront to perform at the event at the Scottsdale Mall Amphitheater in January 30 and to promote the event on social media twice a day for two weeks before the event.
According to TMZ.com, the 39-year-old was supposed to receive another US$55,000 on the night of the party.
However, the gig was cancelled because Ross allegedly did not hold up his side of the agreement to promote the party sufficiently on Twitter and Instagram in the weeks leading up to the event.
Bosses at Conexts, the company behind the event, claim he only posted once and they are now seeking US$55,000 plus damages.
