Zayn Malik has posted a cryptic message on Twitter following his split from Perrie Edwards complaining he "can't do enough for some people".
The singer, who left One Direction in March, shocked fans this week when it was revealed he had called off his engagement to the Little Mix star.
Edwards later told E! News she was "good" during a post-split interview, and Malik posted an image of a lotus flower and a message on Twitter.
However, he has since written, "You just can't do enough for some people, I guess" but it is not known who he is addressing or if he is referring to his failed relationship.
Malik then thanked his fans and started discussing his solo career, adding

New reports suggest Malik split from Edwards via text message around two weeks ago, and he has since been pictured partying in Los Angeles nightclubs.The former couple became engaged in 2013 and reports suggest they recently bought a US$4.8 million mansion near London together.
