R&B star August Alsina is facing a backlash online after he was caught appearing to grope a female fan onstage at a recent concert.
The 'No Love' hitmaker was performing at the Freebandz Music Fest in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Friday, when he invited one girl from the audience to join him onstage.
In video footage of the incident, Alsina serenades the woman as he hugs her from behind and then appears to move his left hand from one breast to another, giving each a little squeeze.
The blushing female, who was wearing a low cut halter neck dress, tried to cover herself up to prevent a wardrobe malfunction as Alsina continued with the show.
The clip has since gone viral, prompting outraged Twitter users to slam Alsina on social media.
One user writes, "August Alsina living his dream, and his dream is sexual harassment," while another tweets, "That August Alsina video makes me feel uncomfortable. (I) wasn't even there. You know you can like some1 and still not consent to touching?"
Others commented on how the girl "looked uncomfortable" with his groping, while another tweet reads, "So about this August Alsina thing... Not okay. I dont care. He violated."
Alsina has yet to comment directly on the controversy, but he hinted at the fact he's going through a tough time on Saturday, when he wrote, "Today has just been 'one of them days' But still I smiled all through the day".
The woman at the centre of the scandal, whose identity has not been revealed, has also yet to break her silence over the incident.
