Almost two decades on from the deaths of Kiwi mountaineers Rob Hall and Andy Harris on the world's highest peak, a Hollywood film telling their story is set for release.
The film has been 15 years in the making, and is called, simply, Everest.
Everest will open the prestigious Venice Film Festival next week, but today the cast spoke in Los Angeles for the first time about their experience making the film.
Much of the film was shot on location in the Himalayas and the Italian Alps, a physically demanding shoot at altitude.
