TV3 and The Rock hosts Jono and Ben are currently making their way across Lake Taupo aboard a bouncy castle.
The wacky duo set off early this morning from the southern end and plan to land at the iconic Lake Taupo Hole In One Challenge around 4.30pm.
"It's been a challenge to get down to Taupo for this Bouncy Castle Crusade but we now know how Captain Cook felt before he took his wee boat trip to NZ," says Jono.
"Also if I die, can someone clear my computer history at TV3?"
"The worst thing about crossing Taupo on a bouncy castle is going to be spending 12 hours with Jono," adds Ben. "But as long as we follow the first rule of bouncy castles and have 'no shoes' then we should be OK."
The bouncy castle is said to have been donated by a 5-year-old The Rock listener and amendments were made by inflatable boat company, Lancer, to ensure a successful trip.
The Rock's website is tracking the pair's progress live and hashtag #castlecrusade is currently trending on Twitter in New Zealand.
