Star Wars Battlefront alpha gameplay footage leaks

Star Wars Battlefront is set for release on November 17

Footage from a closed alpha test of the PC version of Star Wars Battlefront has leaked, giving fans a look at 10 minutes of unedited gameplay.

The video, shared by Jake McNeill on YouTube, shows Walker Assault on Hoth, a point-control game mode similar to Domination in Battlefield and Call of Duty.

In this mode, two teams of 20 players - one team as the Rebel Alliance, and the other as the Empire - fight over control of three Uplinks. As it's a recreation of the iconic battle from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Imperial Walkers (both the AT-AT and AT-ST) play a significant role.

While the video remains up at the time of writing, there's a good chance that EA will get it taken down at some stage.

Meanwhile, those wanting an early go at the game themselves will have a chance to do so early next month, when a beta test commences on all platforms.

Star Wars Battlefront is set for release on November 17 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Watch the footage.
