Those wanting to help DICE iron out any bugs in Star Wars Battlefront and get an early look at the game in the process are in luck as EA have announced that a beta test will be held in early October.
It's not clear whether this is an open or closed beta, and what people will need to do to take part. What is confirmed, however, is that it will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and will feature three game modes:
Developed by DICE (best known for the Battlefield series), Star Wars Battlefront a first- and third-person shooter with a multiplayer focus. It's a reboot of a series previously developed by the now-closed Pandemic Studios.
Star Wars Battlefront is set for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 19.
