The guitarist also spent three years playing with Kiwi rock legends Dragon, and now, he's touring New Zealand.
He joined Paul Henry in studio this morning to talk about his music and upcoming tour.
He'll be playing one show each in Hamilton, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch over the next four days.
