More than 400,000 music lovers have flocked to the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL), one of the largest in the world.
Around 75,000 people walk up each day for the six-day event, with fans arriving not just to hear the music but also for the festival's eats and kids section.
"It's a good vibe, it is a little hot, it's good there is a good turn-out," says festival producer Sarah George.
Now, the famous festival is heading to Auckland.
"What I love about this festival is what it offers to punters - kids can run around and have a great time with the bands there are great things like Austin Eats and Austin Kiddy Limits. It's a relaxed environment," says Auckland City Limit's Campbell Smith.
"I am excited about the venue and I think it worked really well for Big Day Out and with that one years' experience I think we can bring ACL and knock it out of the park."
After six days, summer is now over in Austin for the 500,000 music lovers who experienced the festival: next stop Auckland's Western Springs in March.
