Chris Brown has denied assault allegations that arose at the weekend from a woman who was at the same private after-party as him.
Brazilian model Liziane Gutierrez accused the R&B singer of stealing her phone and hitting her in the face after she tried to take a photograph with him, The Huffington Post reports.
The alleged assault happened at an after-party at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Brown was in the area for a New Year's performance at another venue.
The singer posted a video to Instagram, which has since been deleted, denying he knew her.
"She probably came to my room and was too ugly to get in," he said.
Brown then posted a photo on Instagram today saying he is going to keep his "circle small" in 2016.
"And I'm going to be hella rich after all the lawsuits I file from these crazy individuals who keep lying on my name (sic)," he said.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a crime report has been taken for the assault.
Brown's publicist has denied his involvement, saying the accusations were a "complete fabrication" in a statement.
In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault against his former girlfriend Rihanna.
