Singer Natalie Cole dies, aged 65

Award winning and much-loved jazz singer Natalie Cole has died.

The 65-year-old followed her father, legendary musician Nat King Cole, into show business, earning six Grammys for her 1991 Unforgettable album, which featured reworked versions of his best known songs.

Ms Cole was reportedly suffering numerous health issues, also battling drug problems and hepatitis.

Her son Robert and two sisters have released a statement, saying she will remain unforgettable in their hearts.
