After spending some time getting to know one another in Hawaii, 2016 bachelor Jordan Mauger and the remaining nine bachelorettes jetted off to Queensland.
The Australian leg of the tour began with a single date. Gabrielle, the only girl to have not gone on a single date with Jordan, was expecting it to be her -- however Storm was chosen, the first second date of the series.
Mauger decided to take Storm bush to a glamping set up, to chat about the last cocktail party where Storm revealed her uncertainty about being on the show.
He'd organised a riverside couple's massage, however Storm reluctantly revealed she thoroughly dislikes water and massages. But she battled through, while the rest of the girls conspired back at the house.
After some champagne and some serious chats, 32-year-old Mauger planted one on the travel consultant.
Next up was the group date, and with only nine girls left in the competition, not getting picked to go is getting more tense.
Gabs was called first -- her sixth group date, much to everyone's surprise, along with Kate and Sarah.
The group were taken abseiling, which was awkward for Gabs who is terrified of heights.
Mauger coaxed Gabs down the rock face; however Sarah freaked out at the top and was unable to go through with it.
Kate, after telling Jordan she knew what she was doing and appearing confident, half-fell down the cliff, and said she "nearly shat herself" whilst hitting herself on the way down, which earned her some one-on-one time.
However, Kate had something different in mind for this alone time than Mauger; Kate told him she sees him more as a friend and thinks she should go home, but Mauger asked her to sleep on it and review her decision the next day.
The bi-weekly cocktail party was taken to the water with a river cruise, where he began taking the girls off on their own.
He and Fleur shared a cheeky pash, before he whisked Kate away to see if she'd thought more about leaving… and she had, and decided she wanted to stay and see what happens between them.
And then it was time for the rose ceremony -- and not one girl had been gifted a token during the episode, meaning no one was safe from elimination.
However, the first girl to receive a single date -- Sarah -- was not given a rose, and sent back to New Zealand.
"I'm not upset at all, I'm actually really looking forward to going out and dating and meeting new people and having fun," she said.
