Kanye's Ellen rant: 'I'm sorry for the realness'

Ellen DeGeneres probably regrets asking Kanye West why he asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for money via Twitter.

During an uncomfortable interview with West, the rapper only giving one-word answers and mumbling about "not having the resources" to fund all his ideas to help people, DeGeneres asked: "Give me one example, the ideas, because maybe someone watching will give you the money."

And for six-and-a-half minutes, she wouldn't speak again.

"We're gonna take a break," is all she managed to croak out after nearly seven minutes of blinking and trying to get a word, any word, in.

"It's like, I'm shaking, talking about it. I know it's daytime TV, but I feel that I can make a difference while I'm here," West said.

"Well, it's not daytime television anymore," DeGeneres replied.

Both the audience and DeGeneres didn't know whether to laugh or cry as West ranted like only he can.
