Long after The Bachelor NZ has faded from most of our minds, Naz Khanjani has put herself back into the spotlight.
The 25-year-old landscaper from Hamilton, Bachelor runner-up, and most colourful character from the series wanted to apologise on Facebook.
She wanted to say sorry -- not for telling personal details that happened the last night of filming, not for openly suggesting she'd still date Bachelor Jordan Mauger if things didn't work out with winner Fleur Verhoeven, but for swearing.
Given the chance, "dropping a couple of f-bombs" would be the one thing she'd rewind time to do all over again.
"It's taken me some time to get this video together because I wanted the dust to settle a little -- I'm sorry. I'm sorry for swearing on national television," she said.
She said she didn't expect the public to understand, but it was one of the most difficult situations she'd ever been in.
"I feel like the whole time I was on stage I was in defence mode, but in saying that I was completely out of character and I wish that I had handled the whole thing a lot better.
"I don't regret standing up for myself, because it's just who I am, but I should have had better choices of words."
This comes only a day after Jordan took to Facebook to answer questions about life after The Bachelor. He also confirmed he and Naz are not together.
"I've been talking to Naz and a few of the other girls and sort of talking about what we've been through and what we're getting up to now. There was definitely a friendship there but I wouldn't say we're 'with' one another," he said.
