Pop singer Taylor Swift and DJ Calvin Harris have called it quits, after spending 15 months doting on each other over social media and, assumedly, in real life too.
The split, reported by People, was apparently not as a result of drama, conflict or infidelity -- but instead just didn't work out.
In March the pair had celebrated their one-year anniversary with a vacation to a tropical paradise, posting a number of pictures on Instagram including one of TS + AW -- Taylor Swift and Adam Wiles, Harris' real name.
At the iHeartRadio Music Awards in April, Swift thanked Harris during her acceptance speech for Best Tour -- a remark that that may seem pretty awkward now.
"For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and the crowds were all gone," the 'Shake It Off' singer said.
"So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam for that."
Harris' acceptance speech failed to return the favour.
Swift and Harris were introduced by popstar Ellie Goulding at the BRIT Awards after party in 2015, and quickly became close.
News of the split comes just weeks after Harris was involved in a car accident that forced him to cancel some gigs while he recovered.
