For some, social interactions are now fraught with an impending sense of dread about missing out on catching rare Pokémon.

But that's a fear which can now be allayed, with restaurant review site Yelp now filtering restaurants in your area by nearby PokéStops.

The Pokémon Go app has taken much of the world by storm, with Pokémon masters-in-training swarming to landmarks, streets and restaurants to try and catch 'em all.

In a blog post on the restaurant review site, associate product manager Will Cole announced the good news.

"We know you want to be the very best (like no one ever was), so today we're launching a new feature and search filter to better help you catch 'em all.

"We know you're going to Diglett.

"You can now find places to simultaneously run errands and stock up on materials needed to catch that Eevee you've been eyeing."

The new feature relies on users' help to uncover all of the nearby PokéStops for the benefit of other trainers.

"To identify a business that's in the vicinity of a PokéStop, check-in to that location on Yelp and answer a quick question to let fellow Yelpers and trainers know that this is the place they want to be."

There have already been thousands of PokéStops registered on the site.

The feature is available on iOS and Android and is currently available in the US, Austraila and New Zealand.
