Newshub's Kanoa Lloyd has hit back at internet trolls for suggesting she was presenting the weather with an electronic monitoring bracelet on her ankle.
A screenshot from Tuesday's Newshub weather was posted to Reddit on Wednesday with the caption: "Only in NZ does the weather girl have an anklet."
Her response? It's my shoe.
"Spoiler alert: It's just a pair of shoes. With a strap. I'm pretty sure it's in my contract I'm not allowed to commit crimes and keep my job?"
Lloyd also took to Twitter this week to hit back at criticism of her dresses, after someone said she needed to fire her stylist.
