The first trailer for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie has been released after its drama-prone production in Australia.
It offers fans their first glimpse of Jack Sparrow in nearly five years - kind of. Johnny Depp doesn't actually show up as Jack Sparrow in the trailer, except as a wanted poster.
The video debuted during the season finale for TV show Fear the Walking Dead in the US.
Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
The Australian shoot of the movie hit a few road bumps. Filming was stalled when Depp injured his hand on set, needing to fly back to the US for surgery, and his two Yorkshire terriers were almost killed.
Pistol and Boo had been illegally snuck into the country on Depp's private jets, dodging Australia's biosecurity laws.
It almost cost the pups their lives.
"It's time that Pistol and Boo buggered off back to the United States," Australian Agriculture Barnaby Joyce famously warned.
"Mr Depp has to either take his dogs back to California or we're going to have to euthanise them. He's now got about 50 hours left to remove the dogs. He can put them on the same charter jet he flew out on and fly back out of our nation."
Depp and his then-wife, Amber Heard, later filmed a PSA apologising for their biosecurity breach, which had been compared by some to a hostage video.
Heard had filed a domestic violence restraining order against Depp within a week of divorce proceedings beginning.
One of the incidents which came out in court documents was while Depp was in Australia, and he had sliced the tip of his finger off while drunk and high on weed and ectasy.
The court papers claim that Depp then dipped his bleeding finger in blue paint to write "STARRING," "Billy Bob," and "Easy Amber" on the wall.
Directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, Dead Men Tell No Tales is released next May.
