Kim Kardashian has been robbed at gunpoint in a Paris luxury residence, but was not injured in the incident.
Her spokesperson said the attack was carried out "by two armed, masked men dressed as police officers" and the reality TV star was left "badly shaken".
Paris police have confirmed the robbery and say an investigation is underway.
Police sources suggest the robbers made off with millions of dollars' worth of jewellery.
Reports claim there were as many as five people involved in the robbery.
Kardashian, 35, is currently in France for Paris Fashion Week, along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and her sister, Kendall Jenner.
Just a few hours before the incident, Kardashian had been documenting her day on social media; visiting the Yeezy showroom and watching a Givenchy show.
Her husband, Kanye West, abruptly stopped a concert in New York, telling the crowd he had to leave to attend a "family emergency" immediately.
West was in the middle of a performance of his song, 'Heartless', when he made the announcement and departed, with the venue then confirming he wouldn't be coming back.
"Due to a family emergency, Kanye West was forced to end his performance towards the end of his set," venue The Meadows NYC said in a statement.
"We appreciate the great show he put on for fans to close the inaugural Meadows Festival.
"Our thoughts are with West and his family."
