Popstar Taylor Swift says she felt "frantic, distressed [and] violated" when a radio DJ in Denver allegedly groped her after a concert.

DJ David Mueller was fired two days after Swift's security team accused him of touching her inappropriately after a concert in June 2013.

He claims the accusation is untrue and cost him his job, suing Swift.

The judge in the case has now released the transcript of the singer's deposition, however a photo of the moment has been sealed by the court.

In her deposition, the 'Bad Blood' hitmaker gives her account of what happened.

"Right as the moment came for us to pose for the photo, he took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my ass cheek," Swift said.

She said Mueller kept his hand there despite her "scoot[ing] over" to get away.

"It was completely intentional, I've never been so sure of anything in my life."

Swift said a meet and greet was like welcoming someone into your home for the day, and she was stunned that he would violate that hospitality.

"I remember being frantic, distressed, feeling violated in a way I had never experienced before."

Mueller sued Swift for slander after the incident and she countersued for assault and battery.

Swift says any money she may win in the case will be donated to charitable organisations that help protect women from sexual assault.

The judge agreed to seal photos of the incident, after Swift's lawyers argued they would be "shared for scandalous and prurient interests".
