Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has explained her bizarre new accent, saying it's a result of fluency in multiple languages but isn't a big deal.
The Freaky Friday star spoke to reporters in Athens last month in a video that went viral due to the highly unusual voice she affected.
The Daily Mail spoke with Lohan about her new accent, which she jokingly said should be called 'Lilohan', before appearing to confuse accent with language.
"[My accent] is a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn," she told the UK-based newspaper.
"I've been learning different languages since I was a child. I'm fluent in English and French can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic."
Asked if she was surprised at the popularity of the video, Lohan responded: "Nothing really shocks me these days. I moved to London four years ago and the taxes seem to be getting higher."
Lohan was in Greece for the opening of Club Lohan.
