The ex-boyfriend of reality TV star Nazanin 'Naz' Khanjani says he is disgusted at her claims he cheated on her.
Naz took to Facebook and Twitter on Sunday night to announce she was "proudly single" again, claiming her ex Craig Sutherland was unfaithful.
"Naz is officially, proudly single," she declared. "One thing I don't tolerate in relationships is cheating. I know my worth. Bring on the holidays."
While not denying the allegation, Sutherland says he treated Naz "like a queen", had recently splashed out on cosmetics for her and helped pay her bills.
"This is disgusting behaviour," Sutherland told Newshub.
"I've never spent more money, never been more invested in someone than I have with Naz."
Sutherland said he hadn't completely cut ties with his partner before Naz, which complicated their relationship.
"It hasn't been an easy ride ... it's been an up and down thing for me."
Naz also posted a message on Sunday night time that states: "The best revenge is not giving a f**k".
More details of the break-up are given in the new issue of Woman's Day NZ, where Naz describes the split as "his loss".
"It's been horrible and not how I imagined things would turn out. But I'm not going to sit around moping," she says.
The couple were in a relationship for several months, documenting it with loved-up photos on their respective social media accounts.
Their relationship troubles hit the headlines earlier this month. Naz said they were trying to work through them, but now, it's all over.
It comes after Naz was spurned on national TV, with The Bachelor star Jordan Mauger choosing Fleur Verhoeven to be his partner instead.
However, that relationship also didn't last, with the pair announcing their break-up just days after the last episode aired.
