Singer Michael Bublé has revealed his son Noah will be well enough to spend Christmas outside hospital.

The three-year-old is battling liver cancer, and has been receiving treatment in a Californian hospital. He won't be travelling home to Canada though, where the Bublé family normally gathers to celebrate Christmas.

Instead, the family will be staying in Los Angeles.

Grammy-winner Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato revealed Noah's diagnosis in early November, saying they were "devastated".

"Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well," Bublé told fans in Facebook post.

The singer had just released his latest album, Nobody But Me, two weeks earlier.

It's believed Noah has a good chance of beating the disease.
