Instagram has released a list of the country's most Instagrammed locations, featuring a variety of landscapes and activities.
Auckland claimed three of the top 10 positions, with Takapuna, Queen St and the Sky Tower making the cut.
Andrew Fraser, the director of Marketing Tourism New Zealand, said it was fantastic that people are using the app to share their Kiwi experience.
"The photography skills of visitors and New Zealanders on Instagram are quite remarkable, although they do have some pretty good landscapes to work with," Mr Fraser said.

Tourism New Zealand also put out a list of the most used hashtags nationwide. "#NewZealand" took out the top spot, attached to nearly 7,000,000 posts.
