Video: Taylor Swift surprises 96-year-old fan

A 96-year-old Taylor Swift superfan got the Christmas gift of a lifetime when she turned up unannounced at his Missouri home and gave him a private concert.

A few days before Swift's Boxing Day visit, 96-year-old Cyrus Porter had told a local reporter what a huge Swift fan he is.

"Is there anything else besides Taylor Swift that you're really into?" the reporter asked.

"No. No. No. No not... you know. No," the World War II veteran replied.

A video posted by Hank Cavagnaro of KFVS shows the family's reaction as she walks in.

Mr Porter and his wife have more than 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all share a mutual love of Swift.

The pop star posed for photos with Mr Porter and his family members, and gave them an acoustic performance with her guitar.

Mr Porter's been to two of her concerts, and said hoped to see her again on her next tour.

"I'm getting old," Mr Porter said. "I'm just enjoying everything."
