Lorde's big 2017 just keeps getting bigger, with a slot at Bonnaroo added to her schedule after Coachella and the Governors Ball.

The 'Royals' singer is the seventh-billed artist on the iconic US festival's line-up, after U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Major Lazer and Flume.

Lorde is expected to release her long-awaited second album this year and is quickly building a busy schedule of major live dates, although no New Zealand concerts have yet been announced.

U2's headlining performance at Bonaroo is part of their Joshua Tree anniversary tour, which will see classic album played in full.

Other artists scheduled to play the festival include Crystal Castles, the xx, Royal Blood, Future Islands, Travis Scott and Cold War Kids.

Bonnaroo 2017 takes place in Manchester, Tennessee, June 8-11.
