A trailer has been released for the seventh film to feature evil doll Chucky, debuted in 1988's Child's Play.
Scheduled for a release later this year, Universal 1440 Entertainment's Cult of Chucky will see the Good Guy doll and the typical piling up of bloody bodies he brings.
The film will be written and directed by franchise creator Don Mancini, who has written all seven films in the series and directed the previous two.
Cult of Chucky will feature returning stars Brad Dourif (Chucky), Jennifer Tilly (Tiffany), Fiona Dourif (Nica Pierce) and Alex Vincent (Andy Barclay).
"It's hard to believe that it's been nearly 30 years since Chucky first terrified moviegoers in Child's Play," says Glenn Ross, Universal 1440 Entertainment boss.
"Since then the films have generated millions in worldwide box-office revenue. Now Chucky's back with more scores to settle in his trademark twisted style, and you can bet he won't stop until he gets his revenge."
Cult of Chucky will be released in time for Halloween.
