Adele has cleaned up at the 2017 Grammys, taking home the awards for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
While accepting the biggest trophy of the night, however, the British songstress paid emotional tribute to Beyonce - even suggesting the 'Formation' hitmaker should've won.
"I can't possibly accept this award. I'm very humbled, grateful and gracious but my artist of my life is Beyonce and [her] album Lemonade was just so monumental," Adele said while fighting back tears.
"It was so monumental and so well thought-out. [It was] so beautiful and soul-baring and we all got to see another side to you that you don't always let us see. We appreciate that. All us artists here, we f**king adore you. You are our light.
"The way you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel is empowering. You make them stand up for themselves. I love you - I always have and I always will."
In the audience, a teary Beyonce mouthed back "I love you" and "thank you".
Adele's 25 beat not only Lemonade for the show's biggest award, but also works from Justin Bieber, Drake and Sturgill Simpson.
The 28-year-old won every award she was nominated for at the Grammys and performed twice - kicking the ceremony off with 'Hello' and George Michael's 'Fastlove' as a tribute to the late icon.
