Production has begun on the currently untitled Han Solo movie, the next Star Wars spin-off following Rogue One.
A photo taken inside the Millennium Falcon has been released showing directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller along with the main cast - Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Donald Glover, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.
On the official Star Wars Facebook page, the photo is captioned, "Han Solo - Smuggler. Scoundrel. Hero. A new Star Wars Story begins".
"Watching such inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing short of miraculous," Lord and Miller said.
"We can't think of anything funny to say, because we just feel really moved, and really lucky."
A release date for the film has also been announced - May 25, 2018, just five months after the release of Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi in December.
