Pop star Lorde said she was "tearing her hair out" over her new album last month, which turned out to be more literal than we thought.
The 'Royals' hitmaker has had a large portion of her trademark locks lopped off by celebrity stylist Jen Atkin, in the shortest do yet since she became famous.
Lorde, real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor, now sports a 'lob' or long bob, similar to those of Kendall Jenner and Chrissy Teigen - who both also had theirs created by Atkin.
Both Lorde and Atkin have posted an Instagram photo of Lorde showing off the hairstyle while pulling a 'duck face' pose at the camera.
"The latest victim to my scissors spree, this angel @lordemusic," Atkin captioned hers.
"Short hair ain't going anywhere bb's... Now who is going to Coachella to see this babe in action?"
Lorde will be performing at the iconic Californian festival in April.
