Stop everything and put on a tube top because its 2001 again.
Amongst the ashes of the Brangelina divorce, there may be a phoenix rising - the renewal of a connection between last decade's ultimate Hollywood golden couple: Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced their split in September last year, signalling the end of one of Hollywood's most powerful couples.
A source close to Aniston has told US Weekly she and Pitt have now reconnected and have "been texting".
Pitt and Aniston divorced in 2005 after five years of marriage, amid rumours he was having an affair with Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith.
The US Weekly source said Pitt didn't have the Friends star's phone number, but tracked it down through "a tangled web" of contacts so he could send well wishes for her 48th birthday in February.
"They started talking once he wished her a happy birthday."
Pitt, who is currently fighting for custody of his and Jolie's six children, "has confided in Jen", claims the source.
"Brad told her he's having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past."
Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter in 2015 that she and Pitt were on friendly terms, even during his marriage to Jolie.
"We're not in daily communication. But we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other. Nobody did anything wrong."
Aniston married her Wanderlust co-star Justin Theroux in 2015, and the two shared a romantic holiday in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico last month.
Despite what you may assume, Theroux is said to be unfazed by Pitt and Aniston's texting each other.
"Justin is OK with them being friends," notes the insider. Besides, the source adds, he knows "Jen just wants to be nice."
