RZA attacks Trump's anti-refugee policy in new track

Hip-hop star RZA has attacked US President Donald Trump's anti-refugee and immigration policies in a new collaboration with Italian electronic duo Parisi.

'No Refuge' was released this week and features the Wu-Tang Clan star's vocals over slick synth pulses, produced entirely on ROLI's new beat-making software BLOCKS.

The video features nomadic refugees wandering through a foggy wilderness before suddenly breaking into a choreographed dance.

"Let's make America great again, but not a place that's filled with bigotry, racism and hate again," raps RZA.

"Let's fulfil the need of all men from city streets to coal mines, but don't forget that humanity is the goldmine."

The 'Protect Ya Neck' hitmaker and Parisi are donating all proceeds from the track's digital sales and streams to the UN Refugee Agency.

Although Trump's policies are targeted and his campaign slogan subverted in 'No Refuge', the rapper is intending to send a peaceful message with it.

"This is the moment to speak out about the values of love and acceptance," RZA said in a press release.

"My friends the Parisi brothers have seen refugees struggle in their homeland, and I'm seeing the same in mine. Working together on 'No Refuge' has been a great act in more ways than one."

He specifically mentions the Syrian conflict in the track's lyrics, asking listeners to feel compassion for the "wearily poverty-stricken children, who are sincerely innocent to the bombs that dropped on their city".

"Or the women that seek education and medicine, but are spiritually oppressed by those who don't understand the prophet's teachings clearly, as the yearly death toll rises in Syria, creating more refugees."

RZA is not the first rapper to take aim at Trump.

Snoop Dogg started a feud with the former Celebrity Apprentice star by mock-executing a clown that resembled him in a video, while YG & Nipsey Hussle released a track entitled 'F**k Donald Trump'.
