Disney is planning to upload a third Tron movie to the grid, according to reports.
The original came out in 1982, and was followed by a Daft Punk-soundtracked sequel in 2010, Tron: Legacy.
It made US$400 million off a budget less than half that, but a third movie has struggled to get off the ground.
The Hollywood Reporter on Sunday (NZ time) said not only is Disney developing a new Tron movie, Jared Leto is being lined up to star in it.
He'll reportedly play a new character, Ares, and the movie won't be a direct sequel to Tron: Legacy.
If true, it won't be Leto's first long-delayed sci-fi sequel - he's in Blade Runner 2049 alongside Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, which comes out later this year - 35 years after the original film.
