An emotional tribute to Carrie Fisher has been posted online, which has fans around the world tearing up.
The Star Wars Celebration convention will launch in Orlando, Florida this weekend four days of cosplay, screenings, games and major reveals for the future of the Star Wars franchise.
Before the launch, Lucasfilm and Disney aired a tribute to the lost member of the original film. Carrie Fisher, actress and beloved face of the original Princess Leia, passed away on December 27.
The five-minute video included behind-the-scenes footage from her days as Princess Leia, past interviews and remembrances from her co-stars.
"I love these movies," Fisher says in an interview screened in the tribute. "And actually they've become better for me now because I have a daughter, and she loves them."
Interviews with George Lucas, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and Fisher's daughter Billie Lour concluded with a heart wrenching live performance of 'Leia's Theme', conducted by John Williams.
