Jesse Mulligan goes on rant against anti-vaccine advocates

The Project host Jesse Mulligan delivered a clear message to so-called anti-vaxxers on the show on Tuesday evening.

Discussion of anti-vaccination has been hot in the past couple of weeks, after a screening of discredited documentary Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe in Auckland caused controversy.

Fed up with a certain type of email, Mulligan fired shots at some viewers.

"By the way, last time we discussed vaccinations on the show I got a lot of emails. I just want to say if you're an anti-vaxxer, please don't email me," he said.

"I admire your commitment to bringing back diseases like polio, but I am not the man to help you.

"Maybe send your emails to the WHO, the British Medical Association or The Ministry of Health or just one of the people who make the decisions. If they're convinced, I'm convinced.

"Until then, don't bother."
