NZ's everything I thought it would be: Erin Brockovich

Erin Brockovich first made headlines in 1993 when she began and won a lawsuit against an American energy giant, after claiming their actions had contaminated drinking water in a Californian town.

A film followed and it turned the activist into a household name.

Currently in Christchurch, Erin Brockovich is lending quake-affected residents her voice in their ongoing claims.

She spoke to Duncan Garner.
