Ronda Rousey paid a visit to The Running Duck cafe in Geraldine over the weekend for some eggs benedict, leaving the owner "starstruck".
Owner Anna Cleverley admitted she didn't know Rousey was a famous figure until a customer pointed it out on Good Friday.
"It was hard to keep my cool after I found out," Ms Cleverley told Fairfax.
She added that Rousey was "quite plain looking and very normal" and was "lovely" to deal with.
Rousey, an American martial artist and actress, has over 9 million followers on Instagram
She got engaged in New Zealand last week to fellow MMA star Travis Browne.
Browne proposed to her under a waterfall, with a large diamond ring.
No date or location for their wedding has been announced yet, but Rousey has said she wants something low key.
