The attack during an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester will not impact the shows here in New Zealand, according to a concert spokesperson.

At least one blast happened at the end of an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena in the UK, at around 10:30pm Monday (local time). Police have confirmed 19 people have been killed, and around 50 injured.

It was announced last month that Ariana Grande will be bringing her Dangerous Woman tour to New Zealand for a show at Spark Arena on September 2.

A spokesperson from Live Nation entertainment told Newshub that at this stage the Australian and New Zealand concerts will be going ahead as normal.

She also said that they will not be halting ticket sales in the wake of the attack, with the Auckland show "just about sold out anyway".
