Ed Sheeran's Kiwi fans have quickly snapped up all the initial tickets released for his upcoming Auckland concert, and now a second show has been announced in response.
The promoter says tens of thousands of fans purchased all available pre-sales to the Mt Smart Stadium show in mere minutes.
Tickets to Sheeran's Dunedin concert also go on sale on Tuesday afternoon, as do pre-sale tickets to the just-announced second Auckland show - starting at 3pm.
The pre-sales are available only to Frontier Touring members.
In 2018, Ed Sheeran is performing at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25, before playing at Dunedin's Forsyth Barr Stadium on Thursday, March 29.
Tickets in all price categories will be available for both Auckland concerts go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, May 23.
