US YouTube singing star Austin Jones is in custody following his arrest on child pornography charges at Chicago's O'Hare Airport.
The 24-year-old was arrested on two counts of production of child pornography, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The social media star allegedly requested two of his 14-year-old fans send him videos of themselves doing increasingly lewd dance moves and other sexually explicit acts.
Jones reportedly also encouraged them to send him sexually explicit videos of themselves, including images of them performing graphic sexual acts.
The YouTuber, who has roughly 500,000 subscribers, and whose videos regularly top the 1 million view mark, reportedly told the girls: "I know you're trying your hardest to prove you're my biggest fan. And I don't want to have to find someone else."
If convicted, Jones could land himself in prison for a minimum of 15 years.
It's not the first time the YouTuber has faced controversy - his reputation was badly damaged in 2015 when he posted a video asking his young fans to send him videos of themselves twerking.
